Kenaf is a member of the hibiscus family and is related to cotton and okra. The fibres similar to jute, along with oil are extracted from the kenaf flower. The fibres is used as an eco-friendly alternative to minerals and synthetic compounds in a range of products, acting as a natural and biodegradable filler in masonry and insulation materials.
Carrara derives bio-based construction materials such as Lightweight Block, Lightweight Wall Panel, Lightweight Flooring, Lightweight Beam, Lightweight Column, and others which are sustainable and chemical-free alternatives to traditional building materials.
